Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt was treated at a local hospital after experiencing discomfort in a lung, the team confirmed Thursday. The issue arose on Wednesday at the Steelers’ facility, and Watt did not participate in Thursday’s practice. His availability for Monday’s Week 15 game against the Miami Dolphins is currently listed as questionable.
Watt, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, four-time first-team All-Pro, and 2021 Defensive Player of the Year, has compiled 54 combined tackles, 10 tackles for loss, seven sacks, seven passes defensed, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and an interception through his first 13 starts this season. The Steelers, holding a 7-6 record, lead the AFC North and sit at the No. 4 seed in the AFC, despite allowing the fifth-most yards in the league. Pittsburgh will host the Dolphins, who are 6-7, at Acrisure Stadium with kickoff scheduled for 8:15 p.m. EST.
