The Baltimore Ravens finalized a three-year contract extension with defensive tackle Travis Jones, reportedly valued at $40.5 million, including $25 million in guarantees. The deal comes ahead of a scheduled grievance hearing over Jones’ contract status, after he was set to become a restricted free agent this offseason due to missing the start of 2025 training camp.
Jones, 26, joined the Ravens in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft. This season, he has recorded 34 combined tackles, six tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, two passes defensed, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery over 12 starts. The 6-foot-4, 341-pound lineman has totaled 136 combined tackles, 15 tackles for loss, and five sacks through 61 career appearances. Baltimore, with a 6-7 record, sits second in the AFC North behind the Pittsburgh Steelers and is currently just outside the seven-team playoff picture at No. 9 in the AFC. The Ravens will visit the Cincinnati Bengals, who are 4-9, at 1 p.m. EST Sunday.
