House Oversight Democrats have released a new set of photos showing prominent figures, including President Trump, former President Clinton, and political strategist Steve Bannon, socializing with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The images come from a larger collection of 95,000 photos obtained from Epstein’s estate, though Democrats chose to publicly release only 19.
The undated photos feature a younger Trump interacting with women whose faces have been redacted, images of Epstein’s private jet, and red condom packets bearing Trump’s name and likeness alongside the phrase, “I’m HUUUUGE!” None of the released images indicate sexual misconduct or imply illegal activity.
Democrats argue the photos raise questions about Epstein’s relationships with powerful individuals. Ranking Member Robert Garcia said the Oversight Committee is reviewing the full set of images and plans to release more to the public in the coming weeks, calling for the Justice Department to make all related files available. Republicans countered that the photos are being selectively released to create a misleading narrative about Trump, asserting that no evidence of wrongdoing appears in the documents.
Public opinion reflects ongoing interest and skepticism regarding Epstein’s connections. A recent poll found 70% of Americans believe the government is withholding details about others involved in Epstein’s trafficking of underage girls. Trump signed a law in November requiring the Justice Department to release all Epstein-related records, including grand jury transcripts, with sensitive information redacted. The law sets a release deadline of December 19.
