MSNBC to hold second annual fan fest with Rachel Maddow, Jen Psaki and other stars

MSNBC is set to host its second annual fan festival, “MSNBC Live ‘25: This Is Who We Are,” bringing together top personalities like Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O’Donnell, and Jen Psaki for an up-close look at their political commentary. The event will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on October 11, with tickets starting at $100. Fans can also expect appearances from other well-known hosts including Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, Nicolle Wallace, Chris Hayes, Ari Melber, Stephanie Ruhle, Alicia Menendez, Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele, Ali Velshi, Katy Tur, and NBC correspondent Jacob Soboroff.

The festival is led by Luke Russert, MSNBC Live’s host and creative director, who aims to build on the success of last year’s inaugural event, which drew 4,000 attendees and attracted over a million viewers when it aired on television. Russert highlighted the strong sense of community that forms when MSNBC viewers gather in person, calling the event an opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and foster connection. This year’s festival arrives as MSNBC prepares to separate from NBC and Comcast, becoming an independent news network under Versant Media, joining other networks like CNBC, USA Network, and SYFY within the new media company’s portfolio.
