Uber has joined the end-of-year recap trend with its new feature, “YOUBER,” giving users a look back at their trips and food orders from the past year. Similar to the wrap-ups offered by music streaming and video platforms, YOUBER tracks both Uber rides and Uber Eats activity, letting users see where they traveled, how often they chose Uber Comfort, and which restaurants they visited repeatedly. If you rank among the top one percent of a particular restaurant’s customers, YOUBER highlights that fact, whether it’s a badge of pride or a moment of guilty realization.
The feature also includes 14 “Uber Personality Profiles” that categorize users based on their habits. Examples include “Do-Gooder” for loyal Uber Electric riders, “Rise & Shiner” for early morning commuters, and “Delivery Darling” for those who frequently order food and other deliveries. Users can share their results directly from the app using the “Share this Story” button. YOUBER is available starting today for Uber and Uber Eats customers in the U.S., accessible from both the app’s home screen and account page.
