The second season of Prime Video’s post-apocalyptic series Fallout will now premiere Tuesday, December 16 at 6 p.m. PT, one day earlier than originally scheduled. The eight-episode season will continue with weekly releases, concluding on February 4.
The announcement was made during a reveal event at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The Emmy-winning drama is partly set in the post-apocalyptic “New Vegas” and follows survivors who emerge from luxury fallout shelters 200 years after the apocalypse, discovering a dangerous and bizarre world left behind by their ancestors. The cast includes Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, with Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, Athena Wickham, Geneva Robertson-Dworet, Graham Wagner, Todd Howard, James Altman, and Margot Lulick serving as executive producers. Fallout was renewed for a third season earlier this year, following 16 Emmy nominations and a win for music supervision.
