OREO is closing out the year with a major product launch, including the highly anticipated return of a fan-favorite flavor.
Mondelez, the maker of the iconic sandwich cookie, announced nine new OREO products this week, featuring a mix of permanent additions, limited-time releases, and cross-brand collaborations. The new lineup spans muffins, cake treats, minis, and specialty cookies, with nationwide availability planned from December 2025 through January 2026. Some items will only be sold while supplies last.
Among the most notable releases is the return of Cookie Dough OREOs, which have not been available since 2014. This version features cookie-dough-flavored creme with chocolate chips sandwiched between two chocolate-chip cookies, differing from the original chocolate wafer version. Cookie Dough OREOs will hit stores nationwide on December 22 for a limited run.
Several items will become permanent additions to the OREO lineup in December, including OREO Muffins, OREO Cakesters Confetti Cake, OREO THINS Chocolate Ganache, and OREO Minis Chocolate Creme. January will see expanded packaging for Golden OREO Minis and OREO Minis Peanut Butter, along with a new permanent collaboration, OREO REESE’S Cookies, featuring peanut buttery creme with OREO cookie crumbs.
Additionally, OREO will launch Zero Sugar Cookies at the start of the year in both regular and “double stuff” varieties. Unlike some limited-time offerings, these sugar-free cookies will be permanent additions. Versions of sugar-free OREOs have previously been introduced in Europe and China.
Fans can also join the OREO Dunk Club for early access to new products, giveaways, and upcoming releases.
