TULSA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA – Authorities in Oklahoma had an unusual encounter when a kangaroo was spotted roaming freely in Tulsa County.
Deputies from the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office responded after the marsupial, later identified as Martha, was seen hopping along the road near 171st Street South and Lewis. Local law enforcement quickly arrived to assist in containing the animal and ensuring public safety.
Martha’s owner soon arrived at the scene to help deputies secure the kangaroo. Officials confirmed that she had escaped from a nearby property and was safely returned home with her owner following the incident.
