Bojangles has announced the addition of Spanish-language kiosks and menus across its restaurants to better serve Spanish-speaking customers. The Charlotte-based chain revealed Monday that the new features will enhance ordering by making it easier, more welcoming, and more comfortable for guests who speak Spanish. The rollout covers online ordering, the mobile app, in-store kiosks, and a drive-thru AI assistant named Bo-Linda.
Bo-Linda provides a fully Spanish-language experience at over 400 Bojangles locations, making the chain one of the first major quick-service restaurant brands to offer bilingual services at this scale. Around 35 restaurants will also feature in-store kiosks equipped with Spanish-language options. CEO Jose Armario emphasized that this move goes beyond technology, focusing on making every guest feel valued and understood. The initiative has already begun in select markets, with about 200 Spanish-language drive-thru orders processed weekly through Bo-Linda, a figure expected to increase. CIO Richard Del Valle highlighted the company’s effort not just to translate menus but to redesign the overall guest experience. Bojangles joins other fast-food brands like Wendy’s and McDonald’s in exploring Spanish-language support, although McDonald’s recently discontinued its AI drive-thru technology after mixed results.
