ALBANY, NEW YORK – Temporary visitor restrictions will take effect Monday across the Albany Med Health System as officials aim to curb the spread of seasonal respiratory viruses.
Under the new guidelines, patients may have no more than two visitors at a time, and anyone exhibiting cold or flu-like symptoms will be denied entry. The restrictions apply to Albany Medical Center, Columbia Memorial, Glens Falls, and Saratoga hospitals. Each facility also maintains designated visiting hours and specific entry procedures to ensure safety and minimize the risk of infection.
