AMC Theatres is launching a new snack-focused perk for moviegoers with its annual “Popcorn Pass,” giving members half off a large popcorn every day through the end of 2026. The program debuted Monday as part of AMC’s Cyber Monday promotion and is available to all AMC Stubs members, the chain’s free rewards program. The pass costs $29.99 and can be purchased any time before Dec. 31, 2026, with earlier purchases maximizing the number of days the discount applies.
The Popcorn Pass includes up to 50% off one large AMC Perfectly Popcorn per day, plus one free refill each day, redeemable at any AMC location in the U.S. The offer is valid in theaters only and is for the passholder alone, replacing the former AMC Annual Bucket perk, which was limited to AMC Classic theaters. With large popcorn prices generally ranging from $9.39 to $9.89, customers typically recoup the cost of the pass after about six or seven visits. Competing theater chains also offer similar discounts, such as Cinemark’s 20–25% concession discounts and Regal’s previous Snack Saver promotion. The Popcorn Pass can be purchased online or at participating AMC locations, but buyers must be members of the AMC Stubs program.
