Authorities have confirmed that an American woman who had been missing for over a week on a Caribbean island has been found.
Ann Evans, 55, was traveling on the cruise ship Rotterdam and went missing after disembarking during a tour in Marigot, French Saint Martin. She failed to return to the bus or the ship and was reported missing on November 20.
On Friday, police announced that Evans had been located and expressed gratitude to the community for their assistance. During the eight days she was missing, there had been reports of a woman matching her description and using her passport.
