“Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years,” she wrote. “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son.” She asked for privacy for their family and emphasized that the decision was not related to her appearance or Fischer’s status as a celebrated chef. Schumer described the split as both “difficult” and “amicable.” The couple, who married in 2018, share a 6-year-old son named Gene.
