AriZona Beverages has acquired a beverage packaging facility in Anaheim, California, aiming to restart production at the previously closed site.

The purchase, made through AriZona subsidiary Beverage Packers West, included the facility and equipment from Manna Beverages for an undisclosed price. The company is collaborating with the city of Anaheim and California’s Office of Business and Economic Development to determine the next steps for the site.

The Anaheim facility can fill 1,150 bottles per minute and has an annual capacity of 10.9 million cases, according to Harry Davis & Company, which brokered the deal. Last month, Manna Beverages closed its Anaheim and Sacramento operations, laying off staff at both locations. Its Sacramento facility was later sold to Redwood Beverage Group.

The acquisition is expected to bring hundreds of jobs back to the area. “Manna’s exit opened a meaningful market opportunity, and the facility’s fully integrated West Coast manufacturing and distribution platform drew immediate interest,” said Lenny Davis, CEO of Harry Davis & Company. “Securing a transaction with an industry stalwart like AriZona Beverages USA underscores the strength of the asset and the effectiveness of our process.”

AriZona Beverages, widely known for its iced tea brand, also produces drink mixes, cold brew coffee, energy drinks, juice cocktails, and a variety of snacks, including chips, salsa, and fruit snacks.
