LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – Debby Ryan and her husband, Josh Dun, welcomed their first child on Saturday, announcing the arrival of their daughter, Felix Winter Dun, on Instagram with a series of heartfelt photos.
“Felix was born under Christmas lights with snow outside our bedroom window, right into her father’s hands,” Ryan wrote. “Welcome to earth lil moonbeam. Love you forever.” Both Ryan and Dun referenced the full, bright moon at the time of her birth, which coincided closely with the Dec. 4 supermoon. Dun added a touch of humor in his post, writing, “There is not a single thing I’d ever change about her, except her diaper.”
Photos shared by the couple include Ryan in a birthing pool and moments of the two holding their newborn. A video from Dun shows their dog, Jim, meeting Felix for the first time. Ryan and Dun, who began dating in 2013, married on New Year’s Eve 2019, planning their wedding in less than a month. Reflecting on the ceremony, Dun described it as “the perfect balance… I felt like it was game night at our house, and this was the ultimate game, and boy did I win!”
Ryan is known for her roles on Disney Channel’s “Suite Life on Deck” and “Jessie,” as well as Netflix’s “Insatiable” and the film “Horse Girl.” She also formed the band The Never Ending in 2013. Dun has been the drummer for the Grammy-winning musical duo Twenty One Pilots since 2011.
