Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released previously unseen photos and videos of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein’s private island, Little Saint James, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The new materials come from files turned over by the U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Justice, with additional documents expected to be made public in the coming days. This batch adds to other records the committee has already obtained from Epstein’s estate and the Justice Department.

“These new images are a disturbing look into the world of Jeffrey Epstein and his island,” said Oversight Committee ranking member Robert Garcia, D-Calif. “We are releasing these photos and videos to ensure public transparency in our investigation and to help piece together the full picture of Epstein’s horrific crimes. We won’t stop fighting until we deliver justice for the survivors.”

A Republican spokesperson for the committee criticized the release, claiming Democrats have selectively published information in the past and accused them of attempting to use documents to target President Trump. The spokesperson said the committee has received roughly 5,000 documents from J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, and the U.S. Virgin Islands in response to subpoenas and is reviewing the materials before making them public. The committee has already released more than 65,000 pages of documents during the ongoing investigation.
