WHITE DEER TOWNSHIP, UNION COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA – Two parents in White Deer Township, Pennsylvania, have been arrested after authorities discovered their three young children living in unsanitary conditions, including being covered in and playing with their own feces.
Pennsylvania State Police in Milton said the children—a pair of two-year-old twins and a three-year-old—were found in what officials described as “deplorable conditions” and not properly cared for. During the investigation, officers discovered that two of the children were not only playing in their feces but had also ingested it.
The children were in the care of 22-year-old Josephine Carr and 37-year-old Christan Waldo. They were removed from the family home on the 900 block of High Street in White Deer Township, Union County. Both parents were charged with multiple counts of Endangering the Welfare of Children.
Carr and Waldo were taken into custody and sent to Union County Prison, with bail set at $75,000 on Wednesday, December 3.
