LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – The Super Bowl pregame show in Northern California will feature three high-profile performers: Charlie Puth will sing the national anthem, Brandi Carlile will perform “America the Beautiful,” and Coco Jones will deliver “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The performances are set for Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, ahead of the NFL championship game and the halftime show starring Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny.
The NFL highlighted that the lineup will be broadcast on NBC, Telemundo, and Peacock, with a strong emphasis on accessibility. Deaf performing artist Fred Beam will present the national anthem and “Lift Every Voice and Sing” in American Sign Language, while Julian Ortiz will sign “America the Beautiful.” For the first time, the halftime show will include multilingual signing, featuring Puerto Rican Sign Language, led by interpreter Celimar Rivera Cosme. All signed performances are coordinated with experts Alexis Kashar of LOVE SIGN and Howard Rosenblum of Deaf Equality.
Charlie Puth, a four-time Grammy nominee known for hits like “Attention” and “See You Again,” will perform ahead of his fourth studio album, “Whatever’s Clever!” releasing March 6. Brandi Carlile, an 11-time Grammy winner, recently released her eighth studio album, “Returning to Myself,” and earned two Grammy nominations with Elton John for their album “Who Believes in Angels?” and the song “Never Too Late.” Coco Jones, an R&B artist and Grammy winner for her 2024 song “ICU,” released her debut album “Why Not More?,” which is up for a best R&B album award next year. She also stars as Hilary Banks on the final season of Peacock’s “Bel-Air.”
Desiree Perez, CEO of Roc Nation, which is producing the show alongside DPS and Jesse Collins, praised the lineup, saying, “Charlie, Brandi, and Coco are generational talents, and we are honored to have them — alongside our extraordinary deaf performers — on Super Bowl LX’s world stage. This moment embodies the very best of culture, live performance, and our country.”
