Fans of The Lord of the Rings trilogy will soon have the chance to experience the epic saga on the big screen once again as the films celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Fellowship of the Ring. The Peter Jackson trilogy will return to theaters in its extended editions, offering audiences a chance to relive the journey to Middle-earth in an immersive cinematic setting.
The special screenings will run from January 16 to 19 in DBOX format, providing movements and vibrations to make viewers feel like they are traveling alongside Frodo and the Fellowship. Traditional screenings in standard format will follow from January 23 to 25. To mark the anniversary, select theaters will offer limited-edition themed concessions, including Middle-earth map popcorn buckets at AMC locations and One Ring designs at Regal and other cinemas.
