President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he will deliver a live national address from the White House on Wednesday at 9 p.m.
Trump posted on his social media platform, “It has been a great year for our Country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME! I look forward to seeing you then.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a briefing Tuesday that Trump’s address will highlight the “historic accomplishments” of his administration over the past year and outline plans for the coming months.
Leavitt described the upcoming speech as “really good,” noting it will cover the administration’s achievements over the past 11 months and the policies Trump intends to implement to “continue delivering for the American people over the next three years.”
In a Fox News interview, Leavitt said the address may touch on issues such as border security and the economy, and could hint at new policy initiatives planned for the coming year.
