SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Valorie Moser, a woman who helped recruit victims for the GirlsDoPorn sex trafficking operation, was sentenced to prison Friday morning for her role in the illegal scheme. U.S. District Judge Janis Sammartino handed Moser a two-year prison term, followed by three years of supervised release. Moser had pleaded guilty in 2021 to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking, admitting her involvement in recruiting young women and girls under false pretenses and providing them with a friendly, reassuring presence while they were transported to San Diego for filming.
Moser’s work included managing books for GirlsDoPorn and coaxing victims through a fake modeling website. Victims described her as instrumental in making them feel comfortable, despite her awareness that they would be coerced into pornography. During the hearing, Moser expressed remorse, acknowledging the harm she caused, and her attorney highlighted her cooperation with investigators. Sammartino recognized Moser’s cooperation but emphasized that she knowingly participated in the scheme and provided false assurances to the victims. Moser is scheduled to report to the Bureau of Prisons by Jan. 30, 2026. The sentencing marks one of the final criminal proceedings in the case, which involved hundreds of victims and several other co-conspirators who have already received significant prison sentences. Victims continue to advocate for policy changes to prevent the widespread distribution of nonconsensual intimate images online.
