Megyn Kelly names former Trump advisor Hope Hicks as media company COO

Hope Hicks, who served as White House communications director during President Trump’s first term, is joining Megyn Kelly’s media company, Devil May Care Media, as the new chief operating officer. Hicks will help expand Kelly’s podcasting and YouTube ventures, which have grown significantly since Kelly launched her solo show in 2020, now including multiple programs focused on politics and pop culture.

Kelly described Hicks as “strong, smart, strategic and the embodiment of class and poise,” expressing excitement about working together to grow the media company. Devil May Care Media also features shows like “The Nerve” hosted by Maureen Callahan and “After Party With Emily Jashinsky.” Kelly’s own podcast ranks among Spotify’s top 50, and her YouTube channel has over 3.7 million subscribers. Hicks previously ran her own media consulting firm and held roles as Trump’s 2016 campaign press secretary, communications director from 2017 to 2018, and advisor from 2020 to 2021. She said she is honored to join Kelly’s team to help build the growing business.
