Several people hurt after passenger train derailed in southwestern Germany

A passenger train derailed Sunday in southwestern Germany, injuring several people, the German news agency dpa reported. Federal police stated that the extent of the injuries was not yet known. The incident took place in the Biberach district, approximately 136 kilometers (84 miles) west of Munich. Authorities have not yet released information on the cause of the derailment.
